About the Team

Global Sales Experience Team (GSET) is evolving our strategic, business-facing product function that sits within Global Sales Management (GSM) to an outcomes-based AI-first, mobile-first capability for our distribution organization. This role offers the chance to work on globally relevant sales workflows, improve seller productivity and effectiveness, and help introduce AI into practical commercial use cases in a complex, regulated environment.

You'll join at a point where the operating model, technology landscape, and expectations of product ownership are all evolving with the power of AI. You will own and evolve seller workflows that blend business process, platform capability, data, and AI into practical, measurable outcomes in partnership with business leaders, process partners, and technology innovation personnel across the firm and globe.

We are looking for someone who can think broadly about workflow, adoption, automation, user experience, and measurable business value and work collaboratively with peers and partners to drive results.

Owns the vision, strategy, roadmap, and business outcomes for strategic AI-enabled capabilities within Global Sales Experience Team, supporting client-facing associates across Global Distribution. Serves as the business product leader for assigned capabilities, partnering across Global Sales Management, Technology, Global Distribution, Investments, and other enterprise stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver scalable solutions that improve seller productivity, client engagement, and commercial outcomes.

Role Summary

This role is responsible for evolving business capabilities such as Signal Evolution, Client Engagement Enablement, and Seller Advancement, while supporting strategic experiences including Seller Experience and Sales Process Workflow. The Senior Product Owner / Product Manager connects business strategy with technology execution by translating commercial priorities into product roadmaps, investment recommendations, and measurable outcomes.

Working within GSET evolving AI-first, mobile-first operating model, this role partners closely with Product Owners, Solution Architecture, UX, Engineering, Data, and AI specialists to guide products from discovery through adoption and continuous improvement. Success is measured not only by delivery, but by business value, adoption, operational efficiency, and client impact.

The role also contributes to the maturation of GSET's product management practices by establishing clear ownership boundaries, mentoring Product Owners, strengthening governance, and advancing GSET's design-build-operate operating model.

Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Capability Leadership:

  • Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and long-term evolution for assigned GSET capabilities, ensuring alignment with business strategy, client needs, and enterprise priorities.
  • Translate strategic business objectives into outcome-driven product roadmaps and investment priorities that improve productivity, client engagement, and commercial performance.
  • Lead discovery efforts to identify business opportunities, workflow improvements, AI use cases, and future capability enhancements.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI capabilities, market trends, and industry best practices to inform product direction and innovation.

Business Partnership & Product Leadership:

  • Serve as the primary business product leader for assigned capabilities, partnering with business leaders to understand priorities, validate opportunities, and establish measurable outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships across Sales, Relationship Management, Sales Operations, Sales Enablement, Marketing, Investments, Technology, AI, UX, and Data teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, design sessions, and collaborative discovery activities that rapidly identify, validate, and prioritize business opportunities.
  • Develop business cases and investment recommendations that clearly articulate expected value, adoption, efficiency gains, and commercial impact.

Product Delivery & Value Realization:

  • Partner with Technology, Solution Architecture, UX, Engineering, AI, and Data teams to translate business priorities into scalable, secure, and user-centered solutions.
  • Guide products throughout the lifecycle from concept through launch, adoption, measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure product investments remain aligned with enterprise architecture, governance, regulatory requirements, and long-term platform sustainability.
  • Define success metrics and leverage product analytics, adoption data, and user feedback to continuously optimize business outcomes.
  • Translate recurring operational issues into durable product improvements and capability enhancements.

Innovation & Modernization:

  • Champion practical application of AI across seller workflows, intelligent recommendations, automation, agentic experiences, and decision support.
  • Partner with AI specialists to evaluate emerging capabilities and accelerate responsible AI adoption.
  • Leverage AI throughout the product lifecycle to improve research, analysis, prototyping, prioritization, communication, and delivery.

Leadership & Operating Model:

  • Promote consistent product management practices across GSET while strengthening capability ownership, governance, and prioritization frameworks.
  • Mentor Product Owners supporting related initiatives and provide strategic guidance across multiple products and delivery teams.
  • Clarify ownership boundaries across GSET capabilities to improve collaboration, transparency, and delivery effectiveness.
  • Contribute to the evolution of GSET's product operating model, including governance, design-build-operate practices, transition planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Be a team player as part of Global Sales Management pods.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience serving as a Product Owner or Product Manager for enterprise technology solutions and platforms such as Salesforce
  • Experience delivering AI-enabled, digital, or data-driven products in a complex, cross-functional environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategic business priorities into technical product roadmaps and delivery plans.
  • Experience working across multiple business capabilities, products, or value streams while managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Strong understanding of Agile product management principles and software delivery methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, influence, and collaboration skills across business and technology organizations.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting enterprise sales, marketing, or client engagement platforms.
  • Experience with AI-enabled solutions, analytics, workflow automation, or intelligent decision support.
  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders to design and prototype user experiences that improve workflow effectiveness and adoption.
  • Experience working within capability-based planning, operating models, or business architecture frameworks.
  • Experience helping define product ownership models, governance, and organizational operating models.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.

Base Salary Ranges

$122,000.00 - $209,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$135,000.00 - $230,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$153,000.00 - $261,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role.  Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.  Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
