Role Summary
The Relationship Management Associate (RMA) will primarily support the Insurance Team in Americas. The RMA will be responsible for partnering with senior relationship managers on sales and revenue generation and/or client relationship management for larger/more complex insurance accounts ensuring satisfaction, a swift response to client needs, efficient problem resolution, contract and operational compliance, and risk mitigation. The Insurance segment requires a strong understanding of fixed income markets, including private credit. The RMA will build industry experience and proactively research trends, competitor services/offerings, and clients' business environment. The RMA will partner to develop lead generation plans and identify account growth opportunities based on client goals that may cut across multiple business unit services/offerings.
The primary objective is to take the lead in the delivery of day-to-day interactions that align with projects that are of the highest strategic importance and optimize client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Partner with RMs to support sales, retention, and growth of large, complex insurance clients, with a focus on fixed income and private credit product offerings.
- Support the Insurance team on a variety of tasks and initiatives critical to the development and success of this business segment.
- General Insurance business operations support including IGA business plan/GTM plan/budgets and territory maps and strategic planning.
- Partner with marketing to drive insurance focused marketing programs, manage conference and event activity, and develop capabilities decks and other tailored insurance content.
- Clearwater Analytics subject-matter expert – Assist with onboarding new clients and act as internal subject-matter expert, liaising with global partners and Investments.
- Global coordination of quarterly insurance team meetings and insurance content to ensure all insurance RMs have access and can leverage.
- Broad insurance market and company research.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree with concentration in business or finance
- 3+ years of total relevant work experience in the asset management industry
- Strong fixed income knowledge
- This role requires FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses. Licenses may be obtained within first 6 months of hire if not currently held.
Preferred:
- Progress toward or interest in obtaining the CFA designation
- Strong project management, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Creative thinker with professional maturity and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels, specifically senior management
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and leveraging technology/AI for efficiency
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are required and will be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
