About this Position
The Product Analyst is a key contributor within T. Rowe Price’s Individual Investor business, which serves over 1 million clients with more than $200B in assets, supporting individual retirement and general investing needs. In this role, you’ll partner closely with product managers, vendors, and business stakeholders to inform product strategy through data-driven insights and disciplined project execution.
Role Summary
This position supports product distribution and operational readiness across T. Rowe Price’s Individual Investor business. The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing processes that enable the delivery of investment solutions to retail clients. Responsibilities include supporting initiatives related to T. Rowe Price’s small business offering and coordinating projects associated with T. Rowe Price funds.
The position requires a strong understanding of retail investment vehicles and account types, analytical capabilities to assess product opportunities and operational effectiveness, and demonstrated project management competencies to oversee initiatives from planning through implementation. Success in this role will require effective collaboration with internal partners and external vendors to ensure timely delivery, risk mitigation, and alignment with business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Acts as a point of contact and subject matter expert for inquiries related to Individual 401(k), SIMPLE IRA, SEP IRA, and 403(b) plans and participants.
- Manages projects enabling the retail distribution of T. Rowe Price products, including mutual funds and exchange-traded funds.
- Develops reporting that highlights flow trends and progress against organizational targets. Socializes reporting findings with distribution partners.
- Provides general assistance and coverage to other product managers, sharing in the day-to-day tasks and project-oriented duties. Escalates findings or issues to more senior staff.
- Continues to build foundational knowledge of the marketplace and the roles of internal teams involved in the development and management of investment strategies.
- Supports other special projects critical to the organization.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
- 2+ years of total relevant work experience
Preferred:
- Proven operational work experiences within the financial services industry
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to work in a team environment with a strong sense of urgency
- Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently

Work Flexibility
