About the Team
The Enterprise Data Architecture team establishes and manages enterprise-wide data standards and scalable solutions, collaborating with Enterprise Architecture to ensure consistency, scalability, controls, and compliance in data management. This team also oversees enterprise information architecture.
Role's Responsibilities
As Lead Enterprise Information Architect, you will develop strategy for the firm’s data estate, focusing on logical and physical data modeling practices. You’ll leverage your expertise in modern cloud data architectures, Lakehouse concepts, and industry standards to guide and document target state architecture, principles, and frameworks. You’ll lead governance for core enterprise data models, collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable information architecture solutions.

Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical field, with 8+ years in data-intensive roles, ideally within Asset Management or a related industry.
- Demonstrated leadership in establishing enterprise data modeling standards across federated data estates and assets.
- Ability to develop, communicate, and govern data modeling standards aligned to target information architecture.
- Hands-on experience designing high-performing data models for structured and unstructured data in cloud ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, AWS), including data mapping, lineage, classification, cataloging, and enforcing data standards.
- Passion for data modeling that enhances data efficiency and understanding for all users.
- Proficiency with data modeling tools (Erwin, Hackolade, etc) and maintaining a central enterprise model repository.
- Collaborative approach with outstanding communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred:
- Understanding of asset management or financial markets.
- Knowledge of RBAC, security models, role entitlements, and data security.
- Experience with AI data readiness and modeling for AI.
