Role Summary
This individual will contribute to planning, management, content development, and execution of assigned elements of internal/external events in alignment with organizational policy and quality standards and may lead events that are moderately complex in nature. Another critical aspect of this role is to provide guidance on event marketing tactics and the use of engagement tools and marketing principles to enhance the client experience and drive data as well as continue to develop industry experience and may contribute to the development of the event marketing communication and management strategy for the client segment/subregion.
Responsibilities
May consult on event agendas, prepares and executes written and graphic materials, and participates in vendor and site research.
Partners with event lead to plan events, venues and completes other related tasks.
Measures event participant/invitee/stakeholder engagement and contributes to the development of reports for management.
Ensures the accurate execution of contracts in compliance with established agreements and deliverables.
Works directly with the event lead manager and event sponsors to document the event goal, responsibilities, timeline, schedule, etc.
Depending on the event complexity, either leads or supports on-site event execution.
Provides guidance on the use of engagement tools to enhance the client experience and drive data.
Continues to develop industry, market, segment, and client knowledge and integrates research to understand industry trends, market climates and competitive activities.
May provide input on the development of the event planning strategy for the respective business unit/region.
Continues to develop relationships with legal, compliance, and other contacts within the organization to ensure events are evaluated and found to be in compliance with firm and regulatory requirements.
Monitors event alignment with common policies and business unit-specific criteria and requirements.
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
2+ years of total relevant work experience.
Preferred:
2+ years of marketing/communications experience
Ability to liaise effectively with speakers, panelists, moderators, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and program execution
Knowledge of event production elements (e.g., AV requirements, staging, run-of-show planning)
FINRA Requirements
FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
