Role Summary
The individual in this role would serve in a key support role for private portfolio companies, investors in the Private Opportunities Fund and personnel on the Centralized Private Equity Team (“CPET”) in a variety of capacities. The role also will involve coordination and follow-up with associates from the many functions of the firm CPET interacts with, including: marketing, PR, distribution, legal and investments.
Responsibilities
- Assist with scheduling all private company meetings among CPET, company management teams and T. Rowe PMs and analysts
- Preparing and maintaining, in conjunction with marketing associates, all marketing materials used in conversations with prospective and existing investors
- Preparing and assisting with all quarterly, annual and ad hoc communications with investors
- Planning and executing an annual meeting of investors, including slides, venue selection and contract negotiation (where required), pre and post-meeting communications, etc.
- Planning and executing in-person and virtual community/branding events for our private strategy involving companies, investors or both
- Coordinating PR activities for our private investment practice
- Coordination, along with Business Development and Relationship Manager, activities and services to add value to existing and prospective portfolio companies such as maintaining board candidate network, IPO readiness, CISO intros etc.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree AND
- 8+ years directly related experience
Preferred:
- Knowledge of T. Rowe Price
- Familiarity with and passion for the private markets
- Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to build and maintain both internal and external relationships
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and sound judgement
- Ability to work in an unstructured environment and generate new ideas
- Willingness to take on a wide variety of assignments and an interest in constant learning

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
