Role Summary
Provides in-depth technical and broad subject matter expertise over critical and complex performance and statistical functions. Leads projects or work streams within broader projects. Responsible for ensuring the accuracy in performance data generated by the function. Accountable for work of self and sometimes others, provides process and standards advice in area of specialty. Works independently, receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for analyzing and defining business issues, opportunities, and enhancements and implementing solutions to improve reporting processes and technology. Leads complex projects to improve existing processes within the organization.
- Utilizes knowledge and broad expertise to recommend and design solutions to complex business problems. Assists with the development and testing of performance systems.
- Analyzes and reviews business requirements for complex projects. Leads work to determine feasibility of work and develops and manages project documentation, proposals, and business requirements and makes recommendation to managers and business partners based on findings.
- Serves as an escalation point for any issues or questions that arise from a systems or business process perspective. Responsible for managing relationships with affected parties on progress or issues to ensure deadlines and expectations are met.
- Responsible for using sound business judgment, technical knowledge, and project management experience in order to navigate institutional business lines, exercising influence and persuasion where appropriate.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
- 5+ years of total relevant work experience
Preferred:
- Excel and SQL knowledge
- High level of responsiveness and follow through. Partnering effectively to complete common goals
- Thoughtful process of analyzing data and problem-solving skills to reach a well-reasoned solution with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills: ability to build the trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through on-going dialogue and interactions, and collaborate well with others
- Ability to draw own conclusions, articulate positions, communicate key messages, make recommendations, and influence in a team
- Ability to support global regions other than US
- Strong organizational skills; proficient in handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Understanding of investment vehicles and security types
