Role Summary
Directs and manages a large team of professionals and/or managers responsible for RFP resources supporting multiple business channels to sustain a world-class service model. Supports an effective and successful team; aligning with the strategic vision of the firm and the Global RFP team.
Responsibilities
- Develops processes to ensures proposal drafts and overall response processes are of high standards and fit with the long-term strategy of the firm. Works with leadership to develop and implement strategy and ensure compatibility with the T. Rowe Price's strategy.
- Uses extensive knowledge of products and distribution strategy to answer questions regarding the firm’s capabilities and offerings. Works closely with relationship managers and subject matter experts to understand and craft solutions for clients based on their proposal requests.
- Implements policies and best practices to guide proposal development. Works directly with large and complex clients and relationship managers to clarify proposal requirements and craft T. Rowe Price solutions that fit the client's needs. May participate in proposal or proposal content production at all complexity levels.
- Oversees legal/business reviews for all potential projects and works with the Global Head of RFP to deliver the final "go/no-go" decisions. Anticipates and resolves any compliance, legal, or regulatory review required for response based on in depth study of the industry and its trends.
- Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff/management team, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, their performance and their ability to build and sustain a culture of efficiency and quality. Accountable for the financial and human resources of a large department/multiple departments to include budgeting, staffing resources, etc.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
- 10+ years of total relevant work experience and 3+ years of management experience
Preferred:
- Preferred experience working in RFPs within asset management
- Experience engaging with and presenting to senior leadership
- Proficient in data analysis and delivery of management reporting
- Experience of developing and delivering on strategic initiatives

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to two days per week from home.
