Client Account Services (CAS) serves as the Transfer Agent for Intermediary and Institutional clients that distribute and hold T. Role Summary:

The CAS Sr. Specialist is responsible for providing operational expertise and independent decision-making while overseeing various coordinated client efforts, working through high profile and complex transactions, and anticipating and addressing service needs while keeping an eye on mitigating risk and improving business process.  The Sr. Specialist is also relied upon heavily for their technical knowledge and is expected to leverage these skills in multiple ways including researching complex service issues.  The incumbent is expected to identify opportunities, suggest solutions, and to apply sound judgment and independent discretion in order to mitigate risk.

About This Job:

Serves as the technical expert for processing transactions and operational activities and responding to client issues/calls on a daily basis and provides coaching for the team. Provides assistance to resolve the most complex issues/calls and provides coaching to junior team members.

  • May help determine the appropriate approach for new assignments
  • Works with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused only on complex new assignments
  • May act as a team lead, delivering training or coordinating the work of others, but not an official supervisor

Responsibilities:

  • May assist clients through complex phone, email, and other inquiries regarding the most technically advanced company products, services, and procedures. Provides technical assistance for the most complex issues that have been escalated by junior team members and guides junior team members toward solutions.
  • May process or coordinate workflow for transactions or other operational activities. Researches and resolves the most complex operational or client issues. Identifies trends in client issues and proposes and implements solutions.
  • Builds, maintains, and enhances client relationships through consultative service interactions. Works directly with clients to identify and assess the client’s/prospect's needs. May provide information to clients on products and services. Acts on opportunities to create value and solutions.
  • Assists more junior staff in applying established departmental and regulatory guidelines when handling client requests and ensures broad and consistent application.
  • Stays abreast of department regulatory needs and responsibilities through training classes, seminars, and applied “lessons learned” sessions and provides training to lower-level staff.

Typical Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 4+ years of total relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Intermediary client experience
  • Transfer Agent operations experience
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, accuracy and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships
  • Proven ability to work in a team environment with a strong sense of urgency
  • Highly motivated with demonstrated initiative and the ability to work independently

FINRA Requirements:  FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility:  This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.

Regional Requirements:

Base salary range:

$44,000 - $75,500 USD

For the location of:

Colorado

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
