Role Summary
The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Senior Manager will partner closely with the Transformation Office to mature existing and enable new capabilities within FP&A to support enterprise execution. The Senior Manager will advance our project financials capabilities, improve coordination between Strategy Realization Office and FP&A, and participate in Enterprise Demand Management forums.
Responsibilities:
- Project Financials: Design and support implementation of Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool.
- Collaborate with Finance Systems team to design data flow between General Ledger, HR tooling, and PPM tool.
- Design key elements of business cases and resource costing within PPM
- Design process for how Project Financials integrate with existing FP&A cadences and rhythms.
- Partner across FP&A, Transformation Office, and other Business Units to drive adoption of PPM solution.
- Strategy Realization: Drive consensus on value and cost reporting between Strategy Realization Office, FP&A Commercial Analysis, and other management reporting
- Drive some standardization of business cases across FP&A teams including financial data collection, review, sign-off, and reporting in conjunction with Strategy Realization Office.
- Enterprise Demand Management: Represent FP&A in the firm’s new demand management process.
- Participate in Enterprise Change Advisory Council (ECAC) to evaluate and prioritize new demand, ensure strategic value alignment, and provide recommendation to Strategic Operating Committee.
- The role will serve as the centralized point of contact for the ECAC, but will need to work across FP&A, pulling in divisional Finance Directors as needed.
- Strategic Planning: Participates in the development of annual operating and strategic plans. Compiles financial information, conducts sophisticated analysis as needed, and interprets results and business implications to evaluate the financial impact of larger or more complex new projects and business opportunities.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration.
- 8+ years of total relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business
- Experience with PPM tooling - Planview preferred.
- Prior experience and knowledge in the banking, financial services, or asset management industry.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: a team player who must be able to build working relationships and interact with a diverse group of associates across FP&A and the business.
- Strong verbal and written presentational skills; ability to communicate complex concepts and issues clearly and concisely.
- Solid business process and analytical skills with high attention to detail and critical thinking

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.
Work Flexibility
This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
